SHADE! SHADE! SHADE! SHADE! For months, I have been in search of a nice park with shaded play areas, and now I found it. My toddler and I went to this park at around 12 noon on a hot, humid, 90-plus degree day. Even though the sun was shining brightly, directly above everything, the entire play area in this park was enveloped in shade. With a small breeze, it was actually cool here! If you want to take your child to a playground but need to avoid the hot sun, this is the place to go to.
Does anyone know what time the recreation program ends? For good Shade Parks Jason, also check out Tenafly almost all the parks there and Phelps in Teaneck have tons of Shade!
I want to attend Shakespeare in the Park. Do I need to bring blankets and/or chairs? It is at Staib Park.
are there any bbq pits there?
