(10/30/2011) Received update on Tiny Town many thanks to Gramma Kaye-

Carousel and Train rides are now $3.00 each. Adult rides free if child does not meet height requirement. We had a blast at the play area last week. Note to visitors – no shoes allowed in play area and equipment is slick. Highly recommend bringing grippy socks along.
Love your site, great info! I am currently amassing a list of PGs to visit with my 2 1/2 y.o. great-granddaughter.

250 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, NJ.  Tel: (732) 636-4600. This is one of the bigger free play areas I have visited with options to buy tickets ($3- as of 10/30/2011) for the carousel or mini-train. I was very impressed with the family focus at this mall. Photos begin with a Santa Parade on 11/13 (this was 2008). Have pets?  Santa takes pictures with them too, starting on 11/17/2008.

Along with the regular Santa pictures, for the month of December, they will be having a special feature with special mobile equipment that kids can control (it is featured at Jersey Gardens already).

Thanks to Amy Bellisano for allowing me to take photographs and giving me a personal tour to Woodbridge Center, a very family-friendly mall.

Make a Day of It: (from Sara) For a mall playground this one is a lot of fun. I can get my kids to put up with a fair amount of shopping with the promise of a train or carousel ride at the end. And, of course, there are ice cream and cookies to be had, even a Burger King on site (very important to my picky eaters).

Click here to visit their website for more information on the mall itself.

Have you checked out all our other indoor play areas? We have included a map of all NJ indoor playgrounds, NJ children museums, even mcdonalds playlands and chuck e. cheeses in NJ and all your recommendations in one page. Check it out!
