Editor’s Note: Spring is FINALLY in the air, and while we love our outdoor playgrounds, we also are fans of rainy day ideas/indoor places to play. Karen and her crew went to visit Legoland Discovery Center in Westchester NY.

1. Lego Factory thing
2. Kingdom Quest–ride where you shoot the targets to score points as you ride around
3. Lego 4D Cinema–15 min movie
4. Miniland–New York City replicas made of legos: i.e. Yankee Stadium, Statue of Liberty, MetLife Stadium
5. Lego Build and Test–build cars then race the on 2 different kinds of ramps
6. Merlin’s Apprentice-circular ride–pedal to make yours go up in the air
7. Lego Ninjago City Adventure–climbing/sliding area for 2 different age groups. Unique things to play on like a large pogo stick and large spinning “hamster” wheel

9. Lego Duplo Village–area for ages 2-5 with large lego blocks to build as well as a slide
10. Master Builder Academy
11. Lego City Builder–kids help builders complete buildings in the city
12. Cafe/coffee shop–great variety of food/drinks. Starbucks, juice, milk, yogurt, applesauce, fruit, pudding, salad, humus/pretzels, guac/tostitos rolls, sandwiches,goldfish, Cheetos, chips, soda seltzer, smoothies, ice cream, muffins, cake, etc .
