Hamilton Ave, Berkeley Heights, NJ. (near Plainfield Ave. intersection)
Thanks Rachel for this recommendation, my oldest had a great time especially with the monkey bars which still make me nervous!Â
Some of the mothers that were there said they were appreciative of some of the newer equipment but they skimped out on some of the other parts that need improvement.Â
I could see this with the sandbox which was more of a dirt box. Also an Eagle scout has a half-mile trail marked out, see photo.Â
So we did have a good time, restrooms nearby and some fun equipment.  Tennis courts and really a happening place, lots of kids, nice people, it was all good. Also take care if it has been raining alot, cause the wood chips do get pretty soggy and “quicksandish” Here are the pictures.
We really like this park. The newer equipment is in the sun, but there is also older stuff, meant for younger children and probably in need of replacement, in deep shade. They have several interesting “bouncy things” and a fire truck which pleased my toddler. The bathrooms are generally always open and clean. Every now and then there’s a concession stand, and there’s a drink machine, too.
I heard a rumor that they have replaced the aging equipment for younger children this past fall. Looking forward to checking it out again this spring.
Finally made it back. Your pictures are of the new equipment, all of which is nice. They took out the fire truck and a cool 4 person bouncy thing, but the rest is excellent.
