Shadyside Park, at the end of Yurgel Dr. off Durham Rd. in South Plainfield (Middlesex Co.) has a lot of interesting items for an urban neighborhood park.
There is a large play structure with a tube climber, a merry-go-round, a stand-up circular bouncer, a 4-person seesaw, two rocking animals, a horizontal climbing wall, swings, and a large picnic shelter (but without tables). The park is sunny and has no bathrooms. There is also a large open field, and it’s located a the end of a quiet residential street.
