NEW POST HERE- for 2023+
This post is historical below:
Eagle Rock Avenue and Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ. there are 2 parking lots, one on Eagle Rock I believe is closer to the playground and it is on Fifth Avenue by the Rinaldi Center, however i do not see that street published on mapquest or google maps. If you park far away, prepare for a walk, and look for the tennis courts, it is a bit hidden. Great playground with restrooms nearby. Swings, slides, trees, and benches with age 2-5 and 5-10 playgrounds, and some structures that could resemble store fronts.. Friendly people were around this playground, and my son had a great time playing with his new friends.
From Amy’s The Playground Guide Listings:
411 Ridgedale Ave & Eagle Rock
Ridgedale Ave is easily accessible from Routes 80, 280, 10, and 24. From 287 take the Route 10 exit and bear right onto Route 10 East. Turn right onto Ridgedale Ave and continue on two miles. Park is on your right.

Sorrentos bakery is definitely worth a stop; you can dine outside at Avellino’s Pizza & Café and stop for ice cream at the Scoop Coop.
Here’s your pics!!!!
The playground area entrance is directly across from Sorentos Bakery on Eagle Rock Ave. there is a Vet clinic on the corner.
Can tables at the shelter be reserved?
Thank you.
