1678 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor, New Jersey. Thanks to Vinny Burzi, a great friend Rick and I had known from Theta Xi (Gamma Chapter) in our old college days (BEST FRATERNITY EVER!), member of N=~20, home brewer, and husband of Karen Burzi, my great chef friend, who generously hosts great gatherings to feed all her friends. Thanks to Gia for testing the equipment for us! Vinny provided a detailed description and took pictures of this great park. We are very happy to finally include Mercer County.
“The playground is located just off of of Lake Mercer and is adjacent to the Marina, were the bathrooms are located. There is lots of parking. The playground is big with two main play sets, one for kids 2-5yrs, and another for 5 – 12yrs. In between is a swing set with 2 baby swings, 2 standard swings, and 1 (there used to be 2) of the chair type swings with a 5-point harness. Everyone love the chair swing as you can be pushed so high that it is scary (fun scary). Relative to the other facilities the swings are in short supply so there is usually a waiting line. The play sets are a ton of fun, with lots of slides and other activities. The ground is covered by rubber mulch.
At the Marina during the summer they rent paddle boats. There are walking and bike trails around the lake, and marked trails through the woods.
The park itself is over 2500 acres with every possible type of recreation.”

It’s the playground kid!
This looks great; we’ll have to visit soon. Today we were at the playground at Mercer County Park, which I like because all age groups can enjoy themselves in close proximity to each other.
