Directions
From Route 287 take exit 45 (Boonton / Wootton), go straight to the end of the road. Make a right onto Vreeland Avenue, go approximately one-half mile to the bottom of the hill, at fork bear right; 50 yards on the left you will see the entrance to The Knoll Country Club and the park.
Description
The Knoll Park is situated within the 360 acres of the Knoll Golf Facility. There are two playground areas and the first area in a public park in New Jersey to be designed specifically for handicapped children. The park includes two picnic areas with shelters that can be reserved and plenty of additional activities making it a good destination for a large group or picnic. The park is right next to the Town recreation office, Knoll golf course and the Knoll tennis center.
Parking: Medium
Picnicking: Nice big shelter with lots of tables and a grill
Handicap: There are two wheelchair swings and much of the main play equipment is wheelchair accessible via ramp
Climbing: Rock walls, ramps mushroom caps, bars, handles, corkscrew pole, stairs and ladders
Playthings: Lots of puzzles – ABC, rock/paper/scissors, animated figures – drawings underneath the slides, steering wheels and tubes
Slides: Two bump, one twisty half-pipe, one toddler tunnel
Sports: Volleyball, Bocce, Horseshoes, open fields for play
Swings: Two handicap, one tire, four full size, two toddler
Walking Paths: Dirt walking paths into the woods

Take a ride to Funny Books Comics & Stuff or The Toy Box – both in Lake Hiawatha.
