Editor’s Note: Katie Groel sends us this great park in East Brunswick. Please note that the Daisy Kids Playground is used for their own events, but sometimes accessible when it isn’t being used by the program. For Katie’s submission she receives a family day pass (2 adults, 2 children) to Asbury Splash Park. If you’d like to be a roving reporter and get free passes to cool places, check out our promotion here!
My parents live around the corner and we visit Bicentenniel Park in East Brunswick often! Its definitely a favorite! The park is towards the back, behind the tennis courts. 2 sets of swings, a small tube to climb thru and one zipline The playground ground structures are targeted to smaller kids in my opinion, but my 3 year loves them. They are surrounded by shady benches which is nice too. Across the parking lot is a small paved trail that leads to the lake. We always bring bread for the ducks! The trail is small, but perfect for a toddler, its just a loop. At the end of the loop is another playground that is closed most of the time. Its for the Daisy Kids program. Information link is below. Today it was open…there is a rubber mat and ramps to run around on. There is even a roller slide!
