Little Sports Court is a small fenced in playground is located next to what looks like a community center. Address is 50 Monmouth Court Livingston, NJ 07039, link to map here. There is shade in the early part of the day and a picnic bench. This is a rare park where the lower age range is 1. There is also a lot of sand in this park. It is usually not crowded except when there is a little league game. The playground is not crowded but the parking lot gets full.
Recommended Ages: (usually posted on the equipment or at the park) Â
Some equipment for 1-3 year old and some for 4-8 year olds all in the same area
Climbing: There is one large climbing/sliding piece for the older kids. There is also a structure for smaller children with a ramp.
Playthings: Â funnels to put sand in.
Sandbox: mostly sand under the equipment, you can usually find some pails and other play things there. Bring your own if you child loves to play in the sand to be safe.
See-Saws: one 4 person
Slides: big kids – 1 high straight slide, little kids – 1 small and 1 very small
Other:Â wood house
Parking:Â Nice size parking lot.
Benches: A few benches are scattered throughout the playground area
Food & Beverage:Â Â Shoprite, pizza, Chinese, bagel and Subway are near by.
Picnicking: one table
Bathrooms: I think there was a port-a-potty near the baseball field
Sports Fields: Baseball, some other open space.
Make a Day of It:  some local stores near by, Livingston and Short Hills malls are not far. Good place to let the kids get some energy out if you have been shopping. There are also some children enrichment places near by. You can take younger kids here while older kids are in their classes but still be close by.
I just drove by this playground and it is all torn up. I saw at the town Memorial weekend activities some plans that look like they are for a new playground.
