Hackettstown Pool Playground- This is a brand new playground located to the right of the Hackettstown Community Pool entrance. You do not need a pool membership or pass to utilize playground. Upon entrance, you must walk through a nicely shaded area meant for picnicking. There are 6 shaded picnic tables and 5 grills and trash containers. At the end of the picnic center, you will see a gate to the new playground.

The new playground is themed in black and orange Hackettstown Tigers pride. There is freshly laid mulch and 2 brand new orange benches. It has two separate play structures, one geared towards toddlers and the other geared to ages 6-12. It also boasts swings, parallel bars, and oversized buttons to balance and hang out on.
Make a day of it by packing a picnic and visiting the Hackettstown Community Pool. The pool is very clean and four pools. A baby pool, a pool geared toward ages 5-12 with a Frog slide, an Olympic pool, and a diving pool. There is also a great snack shack located on premises or you can picnic at the aforementioned picnic area near the playground. The snack shack offers ice cream, beverages, grilled cheese, hotdogs, french-fries, etc.
Prices on weekdays are $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 3 and up. Under 3 free. On weekends, the price of admission is $10 for adults and $4 for children, under 3 still free. Call (908) 852-5443 for more info.
If you get your hand stamped on the way out, you can travel between the playground and pool all day.

Playthings: Pretend Drive thru window, shape and color sorter, oversized buttons or leap pads, parallel bars, very tall slide, see through tunnel/climbing structure, twisted ladder structure for climbing, twisty balance beam, Planet/Galaxy Spinner
Slides: Toddler slides and one very tall and twisty slide for older children
Swings: Toddler swings are nicely separated from the rest of the equipment

I found the answer on Hackettstown webpage. The daily fee is the same for residents and non-residents. Looks like we’re going swimming 🙂
