   I was a little kid when this happened, but as far as I remember…The park put this sign up in the 70’s after a girl on a tobogan style sled hit a tree at the bottom of the hill, breaking her neck and killing her. In fact, they wouldn’t let any sled, without steering, go on afterwards. I don’t recall the snowboarding part. They may have added this on later.
