Hillcrest School located on 160 Hillcrest Avenue, in Morris Township, NJ.
Three playgrounds at one school, good for toddlers on up. Upper field has a full fitness center for older kids and ball fields. Nicely mulched and/or rubber or grass ground cover in all play areas.
Route 287 to Lafayette Ave, exit 36B. Slight right onto Lafayette, under train trestle, right onto Morris St. Through light, up hill, turn Right onto East Park Pl and then go half-way around the center of town and make a right onto Washington St which is also CR-510 / NJ-24. Continue about half a mile and make a left at the light onto Hillcrest Ave. Go up the hill and Hillcrest School is at the top on the left hand side.

Climbing: Bars, mushroom caps, stairs, fireman’s poles, plastic grid wall
Playthings: Standing race-car game – two cars enclosed in plexi-glass race when children turn the cranks corresponding to their chosen car, big suspension bridge incorporated in one of the play areas
Seesaws: Two two-seaters suspended in the air by connecting bars
Slides: One stand-alone corkscrew, one tube, one half-pipe, two toddler, three straight
Sports: One baseball field on upper level
Swings: Ten adult
Other Cool Stuff: Multi-station fitness course with really challenging “feats†of strength

Check to see what is going on at the Morristown Armory or visit Jockey Hollow Park or Burnham Pond and Play Area which are both near by. Pick up sandwiches at the Quik-Mart on Western Avenue.
